Sleep. How I miss a full night of SLEEP!

Liv has slept in her crib since she was two months waking twice to eat at night. Now she is four months old she doesn't NEED to eat at night but still likes to wake up...alot. At grandmas last week she slept in the pack and play next to my bed so she got used to me putting her binky in to keep her quiet because I am not used to hearing her everytime she wakes up. Now that we are home she thinks that I live to wake up and put the binky in her mouth all night long. Well last night was the end of that little game, and she didn't take it very well. I am crossing my fingers that she will learn that... yes she can live without her binky and that yes, she can sleep through the night. But it looks like until Livy sleeps...no one sleeps!

It seems like an eternity, but before you know it she will be sleeping through the night. My kids sleep in until 8:00 and I think it is awesome (remember when sleeping in and 8am were never in the same sentence?)

You are so cute. I love to read your blog because you just say the cutest things and your family is so cute. Just thought I'd throw my two cents in with the other advice. GOOD LUCK! Gwen always slept pretty good, but I swear I haven't gotten any sleep since Max was born. Kids are definitely a sacrifice.

I read this awesome book that really helped with Landon - with night sleep and naps. It is called 'Healthy Sleeping Habits, Happy Child'. You may have heard of it, or even have it - but if not, I highly recommend it. Good luck, I was the same way with Landon; putting his binki in his mouth but luckily he found his thumb one night and that was the end of it.

It's so hard to keep your patience, and your sanity when their sleeping habits stink. We tried every method under the sun with Hannah and nothing worked...she finally (after 11 LONG) months figured it out! Now I'm trying to figure it out again with Emma. I feel your pain!

Kat....I love her! Sorry we had to book it out of the reception so fast and didn't get to say bye, but the boys were getting moody and no food= no good. Livy is the sweetest thing and you are such a cute little fam. Good luck with the sleeping. PS call me sometime soon because all my numbers have been lost. Love ya!
