Baby Einstein heaven sent!

As part of our morning ritual Liv has started to watch Baby Einstein. Every parent has probably figured out that it was sent from heaven. 30 minutes. I had 30 whole minutes to myself while she sat in her highchair and just stared at the TV. She was smiling and laughing. It's truely amazing. It may sound odd but if you are a stay at home mom, and your with your kids 24/7, 30 minutes to do whatever you want is amazing. Especially if you haven't slept a full night in 5 months! Bryan now has school 4 nights a week. Which means he is gone from 7am to 10pm. Don't get me wrong, I am thankful I am able to stay home with her when she is so small, but lets face it, its not the most intellectual stimulating day with a 5 month old. I feel like my brain has been scrambled! So lets hurray for 30 minutes of me time! And, if you get what I'm saying, 30 minutes of you time!

I totally agree!! My girls love them! And you don't have to feel guilty for letting them watch tv!!

You are lucky that she watches tv! Landon won't watch it at all! I guess that could be a good thing, but if I am desperate for some time for myself I can't put Landon in front of the television. I just have to wait for his nap time. Good luck with your husband being gone to school - it will get better. :)

OR you could bring her to Chris and I for a 1/2hr a day because you know we both love her so much! That and Chris won't let me have my own just yet! Haha.

We are big Baby Einstein fans. It was the best thing ever when Connor (my colicky baby) was little.
