Cold Smold.....

I hate the cold. I love September. It's my favorite month. Not too hot, not too cold. Now, it's going to be too cold. Too cold to throw the baby in the stroller without turning her into a mummy. Too cold to throw on my flip flops. Too cold cold cold. I wish I could migrate for the winter. Really it's true. I love to ski. I really do. But I would say I am a fairweather skier. If its windy, you know where I will be. I will be down in the lodge with a hot toty in my had. But to think of it, I can actually ski this year! Which makes me feel a bit better since I haven't been for TWO YEARS and the last experience was not a good one because I thought I would try snowboarding with Bryan. MMMMK NO THANKS to that.. I was like GET MY SKIS AND GET THEM FAST! I am not a boarder, never have been never will be. I like my good ole trusty skis where I don't have to eat snow all day. I can't wait to take Liv. She will be a skier too. She will be the cutest little snow bunny that ever lived. But I still hate the cold.

I like the changes you made to your blog - very festive! :) I know what you mean, I am not a cold weather person at all - and neither is my hubby. We lived in Logan for a couple years and didn't like the winters at all! That is why we live in Vegas now...here it is October and it is still in the high 80's - so nice. Maybe you should migrate here, it's wonderful weather! I ski too, and I miss it, but I think I enjoy the warm weather a little more. I am sure Liv will make an adorable little skiier!

Winter was always my favorite season, it's so cozy. Until I had kids. It's a nightmare. I hate worrying if the kids are cold and it takes so long to bundle everyone up. I totally agree, it's horrible. I agree with the snowboarding too. I went with Chris in high school and I ran right into a tree and busted my head open. But it does sound cozy to go sit in a lodge. Without the kids.

I HATE winter. Give me any other season and I'm happy, but winter is totally depressing. Tara loved to snowboard so I would go with her, but I was never very good at it. It is a lot of work to just get down the mountain!
