Happy Birthday to my Olivia

My baby is 1! Even though I feel like it has been a long year, it is amazing to compare her first pictures with ones of her now. She has grown so much. She has taught me so much. It has gone fast in a slow kind of way (enter the long nights with little sleep). Olivia has taught me the most unselfish and unconditional kind of love. This year has been beautiful. Happy Birthday sweetie bug!

My water broke at 1am on April 15th. (Due date April 21st) Good thing I had just packed a bag just hours before! I instantly forgot 9 mo's of "What to Expect when your Expecting". I went blank and didn't know what to do. So I found the book and looked up what to do if your water breaks... what else? (I read that dang book for 9 mo's. Talk about test anxiety!) I woke Bryan up and we were on our way to the hospital. We thought we would be having a taxday baby...but she held out until 1:13Am on the 16th of April. It was a long long day full of anxiety and tears (and may i mention extreme hunger) but she finally came and I was pretty much in shock! All I know is that I told Bryan not to let her out of his sight, and he hasn't, voluntarily, ever since.
