So another exciting thing happened while I was trying to make dinner last night. I realized that it had gotten very quiet in the room, so I looked around the corner and saw this...
Yes, yes. That is her eating the ashes out of our woodburning fireplace that Bryan is so excited to have. I asked him to clean it out days ago because I knew this would happen! Stupid me, thought I could put her saucer (which she hates to play with) in front of it and think I was safe. Owell. Bryan says the charcol is good for her, like an antioxidant. Ya know, because thats what they use to clean ppls stomachs and such. Oh how I love that he is trying to make me feel better for letting my daughter eat the fireplace crap. Or himself because it was his job to clean it out. And by the way, to make it more of an exciting day, she then proceeded to poop in the tub (for the second day in a row) while I was cleaning her up. AND NO there was not much notice. Thanks Al, for giving me the idea to throw her on the toilet next time that happens! And thanks Al again for coming to my rescue and eating dinner with me!! It must be such good birthcontrol to see my shining face and the end of a great fun filled day.
PS. To see the joy in Olivia's face as she takes her first step, makes this stay at home mom thing all worth it and then some. :)

Haha. A little poop and ash could never scare me away!
She is so cute. You gotta love the poop in the tub, I remember not too long ago my kids did that and I would dry heave as I was cleaning it out. If you want to go private, go to your settings and then go to the last tab marked permissions, there you can change it so that only those you invite can view your blog :)
that is so exciting, her first steps. there is nothing quite like it. the poop in the tub is hilarious and i swear almost every kid has done it!
YEA for the big girl...just think there are always worse things she could eat...like the poop in the tub. I miss you too. Can we please see each other at least this summer sometime if nothing else....that would be fantastic. LOVE YA!!

And the fun begins when they start to walk!! I had to laugh at her eating the ash, just because I relate to it. Miss Brooklynn eats my lotion and my Scentsy testers!! ha ha!!
She is getting sooo big!! Can't wait to see you guys. Let's plan on soon!
